BJJ in the Gi focuses on using an opponent's clothing for control and submission. This makes it highly practical for self-defence in everyday situations, giving you confidence and skills that can be applied outside the gym.
The resistance provided by the Gi during training sessions enhances strength, flexibility, and endurance, ensuring a full-body workout that is both challenging and rewarding.
Practicing BJJ in the Gi connects you to the rich history and traditions of Brazilian Jjiu Jitsu, and at Onda Jiu Jitsu, our 'La Onda' spirit creates a supportive community where you can learn, grow, and form lasting friendships.

We typically suggest engaging in 3-5 sessions per week to maintain steady progression in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
